Interactive Game for Mean, Median and Mode

Flickr

From Wikipedia:

Flickr is an image and video hosting website, web services suite, and online community platform. It was one of the earliest Web 2.0 applications. In addition to being a popular Web site for users to share personal photographs, the service is widely used by bloggers as a photo repository. Its popularity has been fuelled by its organization tools, which allow photos to be tagged and browsed by folksonomic means. As of November 2007, it hosts more than two billion images.
Flickr asks photo submitters to organize images using tags (a form of metadata), which allow searchers to find images concerning a certain topic such as place name or subject matter. Flickr was also an early website to implement tag clouds, which provide access to images tagged with the most popular keywords. Because of its support for tags, Flickr has been cited as a prime example of effective use of folksonomy, although Thomas Vander Wal suggested Flickr is not the best example.[14]
Flickr also allows users to organize their photos into "sets", or groups of photos that fall under the same heading. However, sets are more flexible than the traditional folder-based method of organizing files, as one photo can belong to one set, many sets, or none at all. Flickr's "sets", then, represent a form of categorical metadata rather than a physical hierarchy. Sets may be grouped into "collections", and collections further grouped into higher-order collections.
Finally, Flickr offers a fairly comprehensive web-service API that allows programmers to create applications that can perform almost any function a user on the Flickr site can do.[15]

Twitter

From Wikipedia:

Twitter - Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows users to send updates (otherwise known as tweets) which are text-based posts, ranging up to 140 characters long.
Updates are displayed on the user's profile page and instantly delivered to other users who have signed up to receive them. The sender can restrict delivery to those in his or her circle of friends (delivery to everyone is the default). Users can receive updates via the Twitter website, instant messaging, SMS, RSS, email or through an application such as Twitterrific or Facebook.
Who is using it?
Dell is using Twitter to respond to customer queries, send word of promotions and provide service updates, among other things. Direct2Dell
Many organizations have embraced the technology, including the Los Angeles Fire Department that put it to use in situations such as the October 2007 California wildfires.[5]
Higher education is also using the technology to relay important information to students in a more timely manner. Such is the case with The University of Texas at San Antonio College of Engineering.[6]
Several U.S. presidential campaigns use Twitter as a publicity mechanism, including Barack Obama.[7]
Media outlets such as CNN have also started using Twitter to break news.[8]

Scribd is a document sharing website.

In 2008, Scribd launched the iPaper service, which allows users to embed documents into a web page.

Embed word documents, powerpoint, Excel spreadsheets, PDF

From blogspot group help:

It is now possible to embed various Microsoft applications (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT) files as well as PDF into a blog post with SCRIBD. You will first have to create an account with SCRIBD, upload your document there, then you will be given a script which you can embed (copy-paste) into your post. However, please note that the embedded document will be of some particular width and you will have to check if this width is suitable for your blog (the width of the embedded document will have to be equal to or less than the width of the main column). For this purpose, it will be useful to find what is the width of the main column. If you need to edit the width of the embedded document by editing the given script, please note that you will also have to edit the height too to keep the aspect ratio constant to avoid distortion. This can be done using mathematical calculations, but if you don't want to do mathematical calculations, I have described how to use the free Irfanview photo editor. The method is described at "Using Irfanview photo editor to resize embedded document, etc.". You can see an example of how to edit the script to fit the main column width at Embed PDF into blog post. and another one for presentation at Embed Powerpoint presentation into blog post.

An alternative is ZOHO Office. An example of using ZOHO spreadsheet can be Embed Zoho spreadsheet into blog post.

Mean, Mode, Median

Mean, Mode, Meadian

I have a set of numbers so let's now begin,
The mean is the average, Add 'em then divide,
The mode is most often, and its easiest to find,
Median is the middle, won't have any trouble,
Just line 'em up big to little,
Pick the number in the middle,
Whoo, that's mean, mode, median,
Mean, Mode, Median
(Average, Often, Middle Number)

Perimeter Rap

Area and Perimeter Rap

Area and Perimeter Rap

Perimeter is the fence that goes around.
Area is the grass that’s inside the playground.
To get the perimeter, you add all the sides.
To get the area you have to multiply.
One length times one width is all you have to do,
To get the area and now you’re through.
